Paratypen: FRLM 54552 (früher LBRC F 2918 (1, 0); LBRC F 3374 (1, 0).
Typusfundort: Fischmarkt bei Tanjung Kodok, Bitung, Nord Sulawesi, Indonesien.
Etymologie
Der spezifische Name aureolateralis stammt vom lateinischen aurum (= Gold) und lateralis (= Seite) in Bezug auf die helle gelbe Markierung seitlich am Körper.
Verbreitung
Derzeit nur aus Bitung, Nord-Sulawesi, Indonesien bekannt.
