Typen
Holotypus: NTUM 12420.
Typusfundort: Westpazifik, Papua-Neuguinea, West Sepik Provinz, 21.7 km nordwestlich von Tadji, 03°03'S, 142°19'E (Karte), 300-308 m Tiefe.
Etymologie
Die Art ist zu Ehren von Hirokazu Kishimoto benannt, die seine wichtigen Forschungen über Uranoscopiden würdigt; er hatte bereits erkannt, dass es sich hierbei um eine noch unbeschriebene Art handelt.
Verbreitung
Papua-Neuguinea (West Sepik), Indonesien (Lombok), Hongkong. Gefunden auf Weichböden des unteren Kontinentalschelfs; bekannter Tiefenbereich 300-308 m.
