Etymologie
Brevis (= kurz), bezieht sich auf den kurzen und tiefen Körper, kürzer als Tridens melanops, sein mutmaßlicher Verwandter zur Zeit seiner Erstbeschreibung. (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project)
