Etymologie
Splendida (= elegant), abgeleitet vom elegant verlängerter Oberkiefer der Art.
Verbreitung
Derzeit nur bekannt von der Südküste der koreanischen Halbinsel, dem Gelben Meer und der Provinz Fujian, China.
