Etymologie
Preta ist das portugiesisches Wort für Schwarz, das sich auf die diagnostische dunkle Gesamtfärbung des Körpers bezieht (und dessen gebräuchlicher Name unter Aquarianern und Fischern am Rio Xingu). (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project)
