Typusfundort: Bolivar, Caño Cuchima des Río Cusimi, ungefähr 32 km stromaufwärts vom Zusammenfluss von Río Caura und Río Erebato in Entre Ríos, 5°45'N, 64°33'W (Karte), Venezuela.
Etymologie
Benannt zu Ehren von Martha Joynt, Spezialistin für Managementunterstützung, Nationales Museum für Naturgeschichte, Smithsonian Institution, für die „bedeutende“ Unterstützung beider Autoren im Laufe der Jahre, insbesondere des leitenden Autors.
Verbreitung
Venezuela: Orinoco-Becken.
