Etymologie
Von flavus (= gelb); pterus (= Flosse). Der spezifische Name flavipterus bezieht sich auf die gelben Afterflosse.
Verbreitung
Westlicher Nord-Pazifik: Japan, Korea, China und fernöstliches Russland.
