Etymologie

Stizo (= stechen); stithios (= eine kleine Brust), in Anlehnung an den "scharfen Hals" oder den stacheligen Operkel am Brustflossenansatz von Stizostedion vitreuse. (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project)
