Saccharum (= Zucker, d.h. aus Zucker), benannt zu Ehren von Herrn B. E. Sugars, Sekretär der Hong Kong Aquarium Society, der die Typusexemplare gesammelt hat. (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project)
