Etymologie
Sebasto- (= vorgeschlagen als neue Gattung, die mit Sebastomus "verwandt" ist); pyr (= Flamme), Anspielung nicht erklärt, bezieht sich wahrscheinlich auf die rote Färbung von S. ruberrimus. (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project)
