Westlicher Zentralatlantik: Kuba. Ostpazifik: Baja California, Mexiko (etwa 27°N) bis zu Äquatorialgewässern vor Panama und Kolumbien (5°-9°N) und vor Peru (etwa 6°-12°S); auch vor Chile.
