Etymologie
Benannt zu Ehren des Paläontologen Ferdinand Stoličzka (1838-1874), der die Typusexemplare sammelte [als stoličkai von Steindachner geschrieben; das diakretische Zeichen wird gemäß ICZN Art. 32.5.2.1 gelöscht, aber einige Autoren verwenden fälschlicherweise die Rechtschreibung „stoliczkai“].
