Etymologie
Sasha, benannt nach dem Sohn des ersten Autors, der seinem Vater häufig bei Sammelreisen half, "ohne dass seine Hilfe bisher offiziell anerkannt wurde"; atherina, hier als Gattungsbezeichnung für Ährenfischartige verwendet, abgeleitet von atherine, einer antiken Bezeichnung für Atherina hepsetus, die auf Aristoteles zurückgeht.
