Typusfundort: Tuamotu Archipel Atoll, Mururoa, 21°51'S, 139°1'W (Karte), 512 m Tiefe.
Etymologie
Der Name perexilis, vom Lat. per (= sehr) und exilis (= dünn, schlank) bezieht sich auf den sehr mageren Körper.
Verbreitung
Tuamotu Archipel und Sala y Gomez Untersee-Rücken.
