Holotypus: UFRJ 5976 .
Typusfundort: Gemeinde Campo Grande, Bach an der Straße BR-060, etwa 21.5 km südwestlich von Campo Grande, rio Inhanduí-Einzugsgebiet, Río Paraná-Becken, Bundesstaat Mato Grosso, Brasilien, etwa 20°40'S, 54°40'W.
Etymologie
Der Name rossoi wurde zu Ehren von Aldovan Rosso vergeben, der diese Art zuerst gesammelt hat.
Verbreitung
Bisher nur vom Typusfundort bekannt.
