Verbreitung
Indo-Westpazifik: Ostafrika, Sokotra (Jemen) und Persischer Golf östlich bis zu den Philippinen, Neuirland (Papua-Neuguinea) und Japan, südlich bis Ostaustralien.

Status: Stand 25.06.2021: CR Critically Endangered (vom Aussterben bedroht)
