Etymologie

Phyllon (= Blatt); soma (= Körper), bezieht sich auf das "blattähnliche Aussehen, das durch die ziemlich breiten, vollständig zusammenlaufenden vertikalen Flossen hervorgehoben wird". (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project)
