Etymologie

Pseudo- (= falsch), d. h. obwohl diese Gattung oberflächlich Scaphirhynchus und allen drei zuvor ihr zugeordneten Arten ähneln mag, ist eine solche Erscheinung falsch. (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project)
