Westlicher Pazifik: Japan, Schelf des Ostchinesischen Meeres, Taiwan, Südchinesisches Meer, Vietnam, Celebes, Australien und Indonesien.

Status: Stand 15.05.2017: LC Least Concern (nicht gefährdet)
Grund für die Gefährdungseinstufung: Es scheint keine erhebliche Bedrohung für diese Art zu geben.
