Etymologie
Offensichtlich ein Rechtschreibfehler des Worte coruscans (= blinkend oder glitzernd), wahrscheinlich in Bezug auf die helle Färbung, oben gelb-orange und unten silber. (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project)

Brasilien und Uruguay: Becken der Rios São Francisco und Paraná.
