Ostatlantik: Kolumbien bis Nord-Peru und an küstenfernen Inseln.

Grund für die Gefährdungseinstufung: Keine größeren Gefahren für diese Art bekannt. Es besteht keine Interessa am kommerziellen Fang dieser Art.
