Etymologie

Physo- (= Blase); pyxis (= Kasten), bezieht sich auf den "Knochenkasten", der die große, stark entwickelte Schwimmblase von Physopyxis lyra umschließt und schützt. (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project)
