Typusfundort: Türkei, Provinz Afyon, Bach Aksu bei Ayvalı, 6 km nördlich von Sincanlı, 38.8101, 30.2560 (Karte).
Etymologie
Benannt nach Nasreddin Hodja, eine Ikone und ein weiser Mann, der für seine lustigen Anekdoten und Lebensweisheiten berühmt ist. Nasreddin Hodja soll im 13. Jahrhundert in Akşehir (Konya) gelebt haben und dort gestorben sein.
Verbreitung
Türkei: Zuflüsse der endorheischen Seen Akşehir, Eber, Eğirdir und Ilgın in Zentralanatolien.
