Etymologie
Hyalinus (= aus Glas, durchsichtig), bezieht sich auf die unpigmentierten Schwanz- und Afterflossen dieser Art.
Verbreitung
Indo-Westpazifik: Kalimantan, Andamanen-Inseln, Bali, Philippinen bis Papua-Neuguinea.
