Typusfundort: Süßwassersee beim Alexishafen, nahe Madang, Papua-Neuguinea.
Etymologie
Benannt nach dem Alexishafen, wo sich die Typuslokalität befindet.
Verbreitung
Neubritannien (Papua-Neuguinea) und auf den Salomonen, wo die Art häufig ist. In Vanuatu (Malekula) und Neukaledonien ist sie selten.
