Typusfundort: Südwestlich von Rowley Shoals, 18°4.6'S, 118°22'E (Karte), Westaustralien, Tiefe 327-328 Meter.
Etymologie
Benannt nach dem Kontinent Australien, vor dessen nordwestlicher Küste die Typuslokalität liegt.
Verbreitung
Südöstlicher Indischer Ozean, vor dem nordwestlichen Australien in 42-350 m Tiefe.
IUCN Status
Status: Stand 23.08.2023:LC Least Concern (nicht gefährdet)
