Holotypus: ZSM 27470 [jetzt ZRC 38468] [ex CMK 4835] .
Typusfundort: Huai Mae Phlung von Ban Pong (18°42'N, 99°58'E) 17 Kilometer flussaufwärts, Mae Nam Yom Becken, Provinz Lampang, Thailand.
Etymologie
Pallidus (= fahl oder blass), bezogen auf gelblichen Körper. (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project)
