Typusfundort: Río Bermejo Becken, río Pesçado bei Estancia Anta Muerta (22°54.3'S, 64°28.2'W [ (Karte)]), Orán, Salta, Argentinien.
Etymologie
Indefessus (= unermüdlich), vermutlich auf unaufhörliche Schwimmaktivität in starker Strömung, wo die Typen gesammelt wurden. (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project)
Verbreitung
Argentinien und Bolivien.
