Holotypus: CBF 2328.
Typusfundort: Bolivien, Bezirk Beni, Rio Marmoré-Becken, temporärer Tümpel am Arroyo Curiraba im Biospärenr-Reservat Estación Biológica Beni (EBB).
Etymologie
Aus dem Lateinischen obliquus, schräg, eine Anspielung auf das Vorhandensein von einem hellen schrägen Streifenmuster am unteren Teil der Schwanzflosse bei männlichen Tieren.
Verbreitung
Nur vom Typusfundort bekannt.
