Etymologie
Griseus (= grau), bezieht sich auf die graue Rückenfarbe bei lebenden Exemplaren.
Verbreitung
Westlicher Pazifik: Nansei, Yaku-shima, Amami-oshima, Tokuno-shima und Okinawa-jima Inseln, subtropisches Japan.
