Etymologie
Lampros (= glänzend), Anspielung nicht erklärt, beschrieben als "silberner Fisch", also vielleicht auf seinen silbrigen (d.h. glänzenden) Körper bezogen; ichthys (= Fisch). (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project)
