Typusfundort: Straßen von Lembah, Sulawesi, Indonesien, Tiefe 16,5-18 Meter.
Etymologie
Benannt zu Ehren von Noldy Rumengan, indonesischer Taucher und Tauchführer, der die Typusexemplare sammelte und als neue Art erkannte. (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project)
Verbreitung
Rotes Meer, Indo-Westpazifik: Ostindonesien und Papua-Neuguinea nördlich bis Südjapan.
IUCN Status
Status: Stand 29.08.2021:LC Least Concern (nicht gefährdet)
Gefahren für diese Art: Es sind keine direkten Bedrohungen für diese Art bekannt, aber sie kann anfällig für den Verlust von Korallenriff-Lebensräumen sein, ist aber in der Lage, andere Lebensraumtypen zu nutzen.
