Etymologie

Eimi (= sich bewegen); stoma (= Maul), bezieht sich auf den vorspringenden Kiefer von Percina shumardi, der ihn von der Untergattung Alvordius unterscheidet. (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project)
