Etymologie
Anisos (= ungleich); oura (= geschwänzt), bezieht sich auf die "ungleichmäßig" gegabelte Schwanzflosse: unterer Lappen länger als oberer Lappen. (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project)

Venezuela und Kolumbien: Einzugsgebiet des Orinoco.
