Etymologie
Benannt zu Ehren von Frau Elaine Heemstra (NRF-SAIAB Honorary Research Associate) für ihre enorme Unterstützung und Betreuung der Erstautorin bei der Fischtaxonomie.
Verbreitung
Westlicher Indischen Ozean entlang der südafrikanischen Küste von KwaZulu-Natal bis zum Ostkap, bekannt bis zu einer Tiefe von ~ 40 m in Fels- und Gezeitenbecken sowie über Sandböden.
