Etymologie
Fluviatilis (= eines Flusses), bezieht sich auf sein Vorkommen in den Süßwassermündungen der ins Schwarze Meer mündenden Flüsse. (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project)
Verbreitung
Becken des Schwarzen Meeres und des Kaspischen Meeres; in anderen Teilen Mittel- und Osteuropas eingeführt.

Status: Stand 9.05.2022:LC Least Concern (nicht gefährdet)
