Etymologie

Benannt zu Ehren seines Entdeckers, A. H. G. Blokzeyl, erster niederländischer Gouverneur von Bali (der Typuslokalität), der Fische und Reptilien sammelte und sie an das Rijksmuseum van Natuurlijke Historie (Leiden, Niederlande) schickte. (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project)
