Etymologie
Spadix (= lat. für rötlich-braun), bezieht sich auf die Grundfärbung von Kopf und Körper. (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project)
Verbreitung
Pazifik: Derzeit bekannt aus Japan (südliches Kyushu bis Ryukyu-Inseln), Papua-Neuguinea (Kimbe Bay) und Australien (Great Barrier Reef).
