Typusfundort: Bhutan: Zhemgang Dzongkhag: Bach Nabbey Khola bei Tingtibi, 803 m ü.d.M., 27.117618 N, 90.673532 E (Karte).
Etymologie
Benannt nach seiner Typuslokalität, dem Mangdechu-Fluss.
Verbreitung
Exostoma mangdechhuensis kommt im Einzug des Mangdechhu und einigen seiner Zuflüsse zwischen 200 und 800 m über dem Meeresspiegel vor.
