Holotypus: Type#NMMB P26327.

Typusfundort: vor Dong-gang, Pingtung, südwestliches Taiwan, nördliches Südchinesisches Meer.

Etymologie

Die Art ist nach Catherine H. Robins und C. Richard Robins, in Anerkennung ihres enormen Beitrags zur Aalsystematik benannt.

Verbreitung

Bekannt von der Typusserie von Dong-gang, Südwest-Taiwan.
