Etymologie
Micro (= klein); ops (= Auge), bezieht sich auf das kleine Auge im Verhältnis zur Schnauze und Kopflänge.
Verbreitung
Äquatorialguinea: Einzugsgebeit des Mbia; möglicherweise in der unteren Ntem-Entwässerung in Südkamerun.
