Typusfundort: Zwischen Stuart Island und Yanuca Island, Benga Lagoon, Benga, Fidschi-Inseln (auf einem Crinoid (Haarstern)).
Etymologie
Krinon (= Lilie (in diesem Fall eine Seelilie)); philia (= freundschaftliche Liebe), bezieht sich auf die Lebensgemeinschaft mit Seelilien (insbesondere Comanthus bennetti). (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project)
Verbreitung
Westpazifik: Ryukyu-Inseln, Bismarck-Archipel und Fidschi-Inseln, Weihnachtsinsel, Taiwan und Großes Barriere Riff.
