Etymologie
Verbreitung
Rotes Meer, Indo-Westpazifik: Persischer Golf und Amirantes östlich bis zum Tuamotu-Archipels und den Marquesas-Inseln, nördlich bis zu den Ryukyu-Inseln und Südjapan, südlich bis Westaustralien, Neukaledonien, Lord Howe Island sowie Tonga und Rapa.
