Etymologie
.
Verbreitung
Atlantik und Arktis: Ostseeküste von Schweden, Finnland, Russland und südwestlich bis Ostpolen; Westküste Schwedens bis Nordküste Norwegens, östlich bis Weiß- und Barentsseebecken. In Sibirien nach Osten bis etwa zur Anadyr Mündung. Binnenpopulationen in Schweden, Mittelfinnland und Karelien. Arktische Entwässerungen Nordamerikas.
