Status: Stand 17.12.2017: LC Least Concern (nicht gefährdet)
Grund für die Gefährdungseinstufung: Diese Art wird häufig für den Aquarienhandel genutzt, jedoch wird davon ausgegangen, dass dies keine bedeutende Bedrohung für die Gesamtpopulation darstellt. Für diese Art sind keine anderen bekannten Bedrohungen bekannt.
