Typusfundort: [Andamanensee] 3°27’N, 100°12’E (Karte), 58 m Tiefe.
Etymologie
Benannt nach der Typuslokalität, der Andamanensee.
Verbreitung
Diese Unterart ist im Süden der Andamanensee, von Phuket aus südlich durch die Malakka-Straße bis nach Singapur verbreitet. Ein Jungtier, 31 mm SL, wurde westlich der Nikobareninseln gefangen.
