Etymologie
Spio, ist eine mythische Meeresnymphe, Tochter von Nereus und Doris, der Nereiden der Meereshöhlen, latinisiert aus dem griechischen speio.
Verbreitung
Rotes Meer (endemisch); Ägypten und Saudi Arabien.
