Etymologie
Benannt nach der Typuslokalität, den Maskarenen, das geografische Gebiet im südwestlichen Indischen Ozean einschließlich der Insel Rodrigues.
Verbreitung
Bisher nur von der Insel Rodrigues bekannt.
