Etymologie
Das lateinische personatus (= maskiert) bezieht sich auf den fleischigen Bereich, der die Augenhöhlen abdeckt und maskiert, wo die Augen sein sollten.
Verbreitung
Nur von einem Karsthöhlensystem auf der Insel Mindanao, Philippinen, bekannt.
