Typusfundort: Bermuda, „außerhalb des Eastern Blue Cut“ nahe dem NW-Rand der Bermuda-Plattform, 32°25'01"N, 64°56'43"W (Karte), 512 m Tiefe.
Etymologie
Benannt zu Ehren von Gloria E. Hollister (1900–1988), wegweisende Ichthyologin, wichtiges Mitglied der William Beebe Bathysphärenexpeditionen auf den Bermudas, Weltrekordhalterin für den Tiefseeabstieg durch eine Frau, Leiterin einer tropischen zoologischen Expedition, Pionier der Blutbank des Roten Kreuzes und bahnbrechende Naturschützerin.
